Oh so lucky!

The weather is changing and I'm not quite ready for it! Today was the first day it has really felt like fall to me and I'm still trying to hold on to summer! I am very excited about the change in clothing though. long sleeves and hoodies here I come. Me, Natalie & Taber, Melissa, & Ashlee & Tessa went up to Logan last night to help Ben&Ashley clean their house after moving out and on the way up the canyon was so pretty. I love when the leaves change colors and it was an entire mountain side full of red yellow and orange. Too bad we couldn't have stopped right then to take some pictures!
I can't believe this summer has gone by so fast. It felt like it was so short but when I look back we did alot of stuff. So many new friends made. And some of the best memories I will never forget (the fact that I remember any of them is an accomplishment)! This summer has been filled with BBQ's and wedding stuff and lots of baseball! Here are a few of my favorites:

These are some pictures from the 80's party!
We had so much fun and looked SO GREAT doing it! ;0)

This is on our way down to Kenny Chesney!

What a long month!!

So this month has been a very full and busy month. Lots of good stuff and some very hard & emotional stuff. But the best is yet to come. It seems like I haven't had a single weekend that wasn't packed to the gills. The month started with 4th of July celebrations which included
West Point citys parade and carnival at the park, a bbq and the golf ball game, and then off for the fireworks which we had a front row view thanks to me & ash!! July 7 & 14 were my mom's and ashlee's birthdays. We went to cherry hill and played all day and then did dinner to celebrate on the 11th. The next weekend was Ashley Benson's (soon to be Earl) bridal shower at our house so of course it was a week of cleaning and preperations becuase thats just how mom does things. My Grandma Earl passed away on the 20th after a very couragious 4 yr. battle with cancer. She was a very amazing woman who always tried to be the very best version of herself & has left a legacy of lots of people who felt her love. It was hard to let go & say goodbye but we had the opportunity to tell her we love her and say goodbye which I will always be greatful for. It was really hard to see my dad hurting over losing his mom which made it a very emotional couple days. The silver lining was the fact that I was shown again just how caring and special my family is. We went to the Kenny Chesney concert on the 23rd and had a really good time. The whole family was there havin fun and jammin out to some really good country music. Then we headed up to our favorite camping spot, Lava Hot Springs (or in Codys case llava!! hahaha) for the holiday weekend! Tubing the river was fun but not complete without a few battle wounds! This past weekend was my bosses daughters wedding reception and then down to wendover for a bachelor/bachelorette party! Oh the memories made!! Courtnee and both ashlee's made the night a very fun & entertaining night! Lots of good pictures and stories that won't easily be forgotten, which might be a little unfortunate for courtnee & ashley. This friday is Ben's wedding and I am so excited to have Ashley be part of the family. I'm not sure she is fully aware of what she is getting herself into!! lol. So I have lots to get done this week to be ready for friday. Mix in a few softball games, swimming with the kids, and a couple dates and it has been a very long month!

Beginner Blogger!

So I am kind of new to this whole blogging thing! But here goes! For those of you who don't know much about me here are a few facts. I am 21 years old. My birthday is on St. Patricks Day. I am short becuase I have no Thyroid Gland. I am the baby of 7 children! My family is the most important thing to me & you can usually find me with one of my sisters at any given moment I'm not working. I am the only one that still lives at home. I am a bit shy and reserved like my dad but once I get to know you I am more talkative like my mom. I have been an aunt since I was 9 years old. I now have 2 nephews and 3 nieces which are always good for a smile when I'm down! I love to read as much as can. I love to take baths! I am full of totally useless knowledge and if I am curious about something I usually google it! And last but not least I am learning to love exactly who I am!!

I can't tell you about me without telling you a little about my crazy family since I am who I am because of them! I have 5 sisters and 1 brother. You may so "oh poor guy" but you'd be wrong! He was spoiled., but then again as the baby so was I so I guess I don't have much room to talk. In order it goes Melissa who is married to Matt and lives in West Haven. Then Natalie and her son Taber that live in Clinton. Ashlee comes next with her daughter Tessa and they live in Roy(with Erin). Ben who is engaged to Ashley(I call her EY so there is no confusion between her and the sister, at least not anymore! hehe) and live in Wellsville. Erin & Cody live in Roy with Erins 2 girls Maddison & Aspen and their son Kaigan. Then comes Courtnee who lives in Roy with her roomate (and our unofficialy adopted sister) Randi. Then I am the baby! Needless to say it gets pretty crazy when we are all together, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I just feel bad for any significant others that come into the picture becuase we are alot to handle! I am so fortunate to have such a loving family that goes out of their way to help each other when somebody needs it. We don't really say "I love you" much between siblings but we all know how much we love each other. Its just kind of understood. My Mom and Dad have been amazing parents and while we all have our faults I think they have raised some really great kids! My parents are so supportive and understanding of the people we have grown up to be. I hope we make them proud of what they have accomplished!
